Vegetables with higher price increases this month include potatoes, cabbage, eggplant, cucumbers, ginger, carrots and leeks, with a rise of 13 per cent, 26.7 per cent, 15 per cent, 13.8 per cent, 25 per cent, 30.4 per cent, and 28.2 per cent.
Garlic, onion and vegetable oils were the most expensive vegetables this month, with a drop of 21.4%, 18.9% and 15%.
The price of other vegetables is stable. In general, the supply of all kinds of vegetables in the market in August is abundant, and the sales volume is larger than last month.
